FANTASY ROLE TRIP

Fantasy Role Trip (FRT) is a winner of the Three Perfect Days, USAID competition for a best city-break tourist project. FRT is a platform for the hybrid game Bridge of Civilizations that was designed and played in Eastern Serbia. The project was conceptualized as a tourist tour that is a competition of several teams trying to find assemble four iron symbols hidden somewhere on the territory of approx. 5760 square kilometers. Players were supposed to use the mobile app, metal detectors, RFID scanners, and other digital (and some analog) tools – sailing down the river Danube through its most impressive gorge and driving off-road across Serbian mountains and forests, discovering hidden rivers, waterfalls, and crystal basins, learning about history and tradition and enjoying finest food and wine along the way. Fantasy Role Trip is a project that won first prize in a competition of more than 120 tourist projects from all over Serbia.
Project was active during two years and hosted more than 1500 tourists.
