Random friends is a street game, commissioned by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway. It was played on June 2011 in Trondheim and Belgrade simultaneously. The game explores prejudices and controversies related to the European Union in a fun and immersive way by enabling players to socialize with passers-by in two distinct cities. The game was part of a PHD project led by Elena Perez at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and was played by about 50 participants in Belgrade and Trondheim. The players in Trondheim started their game at the Avaantgarden Theatre.
